Ecosystem providers (ES) is a concept regarding the relationship between humans and the setting. In the final two to three decades, this concept has drawn curiosity and has been applied broadly in international academic points, coverage making and environmental advocacy. However, the implementation of this idea concerning Thailand’s environmental problems stays within the early phases. This paper aims to stimulate curiosity, shorten the time and overcome difficulties in understanding the idea. It offers data about preliminary ES by presenting the concept derivation and a critique from the “inside,” referring to related ES-related courses similar to Biology, Ecology, Economics. The rest of this paper focuses on a critique from the “outside” during which the authors think about a critique from the attitude of Political Ecology, which is crucial of it and provokes a dialogue of more serious environmental solutions.
